Time to condense 4 month's modelling into one post (or 3) - PART 1

I've decided to split the 4 months of back logged posts into 3 posts:

The first one is about the layout's DCC Conversion. After replacing the originial controller, this was relativly striaght forward. And took a matter of days to complete. Not many photos were taken during this time (infact, only 2 were, one of the DCC test setup and one of the layout after all the DCC work had been completed). Anyway, here they are:

Evening all, Long time no update: Just got back from my Local Model Shop with lots of new toys for the layout. The two biggest will remain a secret till December 25 but here's the cheapest of the lot: Bullied West Country Class 4-6-2 Pacific No. 34031 'Torrington'

Afternoon all,

I've just got back with my latest purchase from the Bluebell Railway's Giants of Steam Gala. Unlike the majority of the fleet, its got a split chassis and its a diesel. But, at £32 and the fact I love them and thier slightly bigger relatives, I couldn't say no.

Anyho, here it is. Including shots in the lesser photographed Fiddle yard!

Yes, its a BR Class 04 0-6-0DM in BR Blue. And it runs like a dream!

All I need to do is Add the horn, handrails, headlamps and brake pipes and it's ready to go into full traffic at Doveston

Episode Synopsises

Hello everyone, I've finished the story Synopsises for Bullied Country. They are listed below.

Episode 1:- Terriers on Parade

Ventnor is very lonely on the railway as the only Southern based engine on the railway. To cheer him up, the engines organise for two of his brothers to visit the railway for a celebration of southern branch lines. Will their Idea be a success or will it fail and upset Ventnor even more?

Episode 2:- NRM on Tour

The National Railway Collection is loaning a member of its collection to the railway to help with the railway’s services. When the Engine arrives, it gives an impression that is doesn’t want to be there which annoys the engines. It’s down to Agincourt to try defuse the situation before it gets out of hand. Can he do it or will the NRM engine be kicked off the railway?

Episode 3: Mainline Tank Engine

Goliath gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he is chosen to run on the mainline. While he is away having the equipment fitted, the engines have to do his work for him but things start to go wrong just before Goliath is due to go. Will he be able to get to his railtour and have the time of his preserved life?

Episode 4:- The Charter

For the first time, the railway is going to run a photo charter behind Goliath with the good train. However, Goliath hasn’t pulled a goods train since the late 60s. Can he relearn how to pull trucks or is the Photo charter destined for disaster?

Episode 5:- Railway at War

Its finally time for Gresley to leave the Railway which upsets the engines but they are all cheered up when they hear the railway at war weekend is coming up. All except Western. What’s wrong with him and why is he dreading it? But will a ‘aeroplane’ be enough to cheer him up?

Episode 6:- The return of Hardwick

The engines have to work harder and harder as the numbers of passengers visiting grows and grows even though another engine has arrived to help. This ends up in Goliath breaking down. Is the railway going to suffer because of it or is a mysterious Green Tender engine going to save the day?

Episode 7:- The Gala

The Railway’s annual Steam Gala is round the corner and all the engines are excited as it’s their favourite time of year. This year’s gala is even more special as for the first time ever, a Rail tour is coming to the line during the event behind something very special. Something Brand new. However, in the days running up to the gala, things go from bad to worst. Can the gala still be a success or will it be a complete shambles?

Also, here are the Current Advert and Introduction for the series, it will most likely change for the final episodes.
